Getting started
How do I install Quincer AI on my website?
Adding Quincer AI to your website takes less than 2 minutes. After signing up, go to your Dashboard, copy the embed script, and paste it before the closing </body> tag on any page. It's a single script tag: no build tools, no npm packages, no framework required. It works on WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Squarespace, static HTML, and any other platform that lets you add custom code.
Do I need coding experience to use Quincer AI?
Not at all. The dashboard provides a visual interface for everything: creating personas, training your knowledge base, customizing colors, and connecting integrations. The only "code" involved is pasting one script tag, which we provide ready-to-go. If you can copy and paste, you can set up Quincer AI.
AI & knowledge base
Which AI providers does Quincer AI support?
Quincer AI works with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, xAI, and Kindo. You bring your own API key (BYOK). Once you enter it, you can choose from any model your key unlocks. You stay in full control of your AI spend and model choice, and you can switch providers at any time from the dashboard without changing your embed code.
How do I train the AI on my product or business?
In your dashboard, go to Knowledge Base and add your FAQs, product docs, pricing info, and any other content you want the bot to know. Quincer AI uses RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) so the AI pulls from your knowledge base in real time. You can also set up pattern-based responses for questions that need exact answers every time.
Does Quincer AI work in languages other than English?
Yes. Quincer AI auto-detects the visitor's language from their first message and replies in it, no language picker required. Translation works in both directions during human takeover too: your agents can reply in English in Slack or Live Chat while the visitor sees their native language, and the visitor's messages are shown to your team translated. The translation layer stays active across AI-to-human handoff, so neither side feels the switch.
How does Quincer AI keep my knowledge base up to date?
Point Quincer AI at any URL and it will crawl the page plus any sub-pages you allow. You can schedule re-sync daily, weekly, or monthly, and mark high-volatility sources (like pricing pages) to be fetched live at answer time. Quincer AI is freshness-aware, so the AI knows when a knowledge item was last updated.
Does Quincer AI tell me what my knowledge base is missing?
Yes. Quincer AI's knowledge-gap detection flags questions where the bot gave a low-confidence answer or fell back to a handoff. You'll see these grouped in the dashboard so you can add the missing content with one click, turning every stumped conversation into a knowledge base improvement.

How does the HubSpot integration work?
Once connected, Quincer AI automatically creates or updates contacts in HubSpot whenever a lead is captured. It syncs the visitor's name, email, phone, conversation transcript, BANT qualification data, and any custom fields you configure. Leads flow into your CRM pipeline in real time, no manual exports or CSV imports needed.
Can Quincer AI book meetings on my calendar?
Yes. Connect your Calendly account in the dashboard and Quincer AI will offer qualified leads the option to book a meeting directly in the chat. The AI handles the scheduling conversation naturally, and the booking appears on your calendar automatically. You can also connect Google Calendar or Microsoft 365 Calendar directly for native booking, with territory-based routing that sends the meeting to the right rep based on the visitor's region.
Can Quincer AI handle email inquiries, not just chat?
Yes. Connect Gmail or Microsoft 365 and Quincer AI monitors the inbox, drafts AI responses in the right persona's voice, and threads replies correctly. Each persona can connect its own email account, so Sales and Support inquiries can route to different inboxes and signatures.
Can I use Google Drive as a knowledge source?
Yes. Connect Google Drive and Quincer AI can search across your Drive files, attach relevant documents to conversations, and share links with visitors. Combined with scheduled URL sync, this means your agent can answer questions using the same source-of-truth documents your team uses internally.
Does Quincer AI integrate with Zapier?
Yes, via Zapier's MCP integration. Your Quincer AI actions (lead captured, meeting booked, conversation escalated, etc.) become triggers in Zapier, and Quincer AI can call Zapier actions as tools during conversations. This connects your agent to thousands of downstream apps without custom code.
Is there a Shopify app?
Yes. Quincer AI ships as a Shopify Theme App Extension, so you can install the widget on any Shopify store with one click. No code editing, no theme modifications. The onboarding flow also auto-detects Shopify stores and pre-populates your widget config.
Can Quincer AI enrich leads with company data?
Yes. Connect Apollo.io or ZoomInfo and Quincer AI automatically enriches leads with company size, industry, technographics, and buying intent, giving your agent better context to qualify and your reps a richer handoff.
Personas & customization
What are personas and how do I use them?
Personas let you create different AI personalities for different use cases. For example, you might have a Sales Agent persona that qualifies leads aggressively, a Customer Service persona that handles billing and account questions, and a Technical Support persona for troubleshooting. Each persona has its own tone, knowledge base, and behavior rules. You can assign different personas to different pages or let the AI auto-route.
Can I customize the look and feel of the widget?
Absolutely. From the dashboard you can customize the widget's colors, position (left or right), welcome message, bot avatar, and branding. The widget is designed to blend seamlessly with any website design, and if you don't want to pick colors manually, Quincer AI can auto-extract your brand palette from your website. You can also drag the bubble to reposition it. On paid plans you can remove Quincer AI branding entirely.
Can my support team take over from the bot mid-conversation?
Yes. Live Chat mode lets any team member jump into a live conversation with a single click. The bot yields control, the full AI conversation history transfers to the rep automatically, and an AI copilot suggests replies in the background. When the rep is done they can hand control back to the bot. The visitor never knows the switch happened.
Can I collect CSAT feedback after conversations?
Yes. Quincer AI includes a built-in CSAT survey that fires when a conversation closes. Visitors rate the interaction and can leave a written comment. You get an analytics dashboard showing satisfaction trends over time, broken down by persona, widget, and individual agent.
Can I see analytics on widget performance?
Yes. The analytics dashboard shows conversation volume, the qualification funnel (greetings → engagement → lead capture → booking), token/AI-cost tracking, and per-widget breakdowns. If you run multiple widgets, you'll also see cross-widget activity badges so you know where attention is needed.
Can I lock a widget to a specific domain?
Yes. Domain locking ties your widget to the specific domains you authorize, so nobody else can embed your widget (and consume your AI quota) from another site. You can also invite teammates with per-widget access control.
Billing & plans
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan includes one widget, one persona, and 100 conversations per month with pattern-based responses. No credit card is required to sign up. When you're ready for AI-powered responses, CRM integrations, or higher volumes, you can upgrade to Starter, Growth, or Scale from your dashboard.
Can I use Quincer AI on multiple websites?
Yes. Each widget gets its own embed code, knowledge base, and settings. On the Growth plan you get up to 5 widgets, and on Scale you get unlimited. You can also purchase additional widgets as add-ons on any paid plan. Each widget operates independently, so different sites can have completely different personas and configurations.
Security & data
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Conversation data is stored securely and only accessible to your account. Since Quincer AI uses a BYOK (bring your own key) model for AI providers, your conversations go directly to the AI provider you choose. We don't store or train on your AI interactions. Are my LLM API keys encrypted?
Yes. Your OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, Kindo, and Groq keys are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM, decrypted only in memory when calling the provider. They're never logged, never exposed to the widget or the visitor, and never visible in the dashboard after you save them.
What happens if I exceed my plan limits?
Quincer AI degrades gracefully: actions that hit a limit are disabled for the rest of the cycle rather than failing noisily. The widget keeps working, and you'll see a clear indicator in the dashboard telling you what's capped and how to upgrade. No dropped conversations, no broken widgets.
